Tag Week Day 3: The Inside Out Book Tag!

Tag Week

HI AGAIN.

Bored of me yet? Yeah I’ll bet you are. It’s okay, it’s hump day! Let’s see if I can make you smile. I feel like that sounded SO creepy hahahahahahaha. I take it back. I’m just going to post into oblivion now.

Okaaayy so today’s tag is the Inside Out book tag! I feel like I’m a bit of a hypocrite because when I saw the commercials for this movie it was just not doin’ it for me. So I haven’t seen it. But given everyone’s reactions I will probably watch it..sometime.. I love Disney movies! I just thought it was a weird concept and reminded me of the feelings version of Osmosis Jones which I HATED. But I’m gonna do the tag anyway because I cannot disobey the rules of the game and I’m IT.

I was tagged by Kelsey @ Don’t Shush Me! So go check her out after you read this post. :) I totally stole the gifs she used for her post. Sorry Kelsey! They’re just so cute!

A book that brings you joy!

giphyHarry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J. K. Rowling

How could this book not make me happy? I’m pretty sure it makes everyone happy. This whole series makes the whole world happy. That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it. Haha seriously though, when I’m sad I re-read this book. I can read it in a few hours because I’ve read it SO MANY TIMES I basically have it memorized.

A book that scares you!

The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwoodgiphy-5

A lot of dystopian books scare me because I can envision our world going wrong and landing us in the same situations they’re in. The Handmaid’s Tale is the worst though, because it lands us in a world where women have zero rights. AGAIN. Which is terrifying. If you haven’t read this yet, you absolutely should because it’s amazing.

A book that disgusts you!

You will never again hear me mention this book on my blog, because I hated it. I hated everything about it. It was the biggest ever waste of my time. It’s kind of about the Salem witch trials, which I’ve always been fascinated by. It’s set in the modern day and alters between current and past perspectives. And the ending is just. Disgusting. No.

A book that makes you sad!

The Fault in Our Stars by John Greengiphy-3

I’ve never mentioned a John Green book! I will use this moment to be a fan girl and say that I absolutely loved The Fault in Our Stars and Looking for Alaska and they both made me laugh and cry and John Green is amazing. Period.

A book that makes you angry!

Life of Pi by Yann Martelgiphy-2

I loved the first 99% of this book. And then it ended. And the ending made me so so mad because it ruined what had been a truly incredible book. And I really wish I could tell you why, but in case you ever read it I can’t. Because you will either be happy with the ending or you will end up like me.

That’s it! I’m not going to lie, I’m getting a teeny bit tired of tags. My answers are too similar. I’m being boring which is basically my worst nightmare. So in the effort of livening things up a bit, here is an adorable kitten asking you to be my friend:

I’ll write again soon! Until then, keep reading!

Interesting how you picked the second book of the HP series… that is actually my least favourite of the series. Mostly because of the giant spiders. I really, really hate spiders. The film traumatised me…

Hahah good! I’m struggling trying not to use the same books so I feel like my answers are a bit of a stretch sometimes. Definitely makes it a challenge, though, I and I lurve challenges. *mwahaha*. Hahah just kidding. But not really. The book of TFiOS hit me way way harder than the movie too. I teared up when I watched the movie but I freaking BAWLED when I read the book. There were literal streams running down my face. It was embarrassing.
